DUBAI: UAE passport holders will soon be allowed to enter Mexico visa-free, the UAE government announced, according to local daily Khaleej Times.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Secretariat of Mexico signed a memorandum of understanding allowing citizens to travel between the two countries starting Oct. 31, 2018.

UAE Ambassador to Mexico Ahmad Hatem Al Menhali described the diplomatic agreement as “the crowning of intense bilateral efforts, with mutual advantages.”
