LuLu Hypermarket is gearing up to launch its newest hypermarket in Tabuk on Wednesday. The opening of the 14th Saudi branch will increase LuLu’s international store count to 154.
Strategically located at Tabuk Park Mall, the new hypermarket covers a total built-up area of more than 145,000 square feet. With the signature LuLu design aesthetic, the single-level shopping facility features a conducive and spacious store layout and organized product stations. The first division is dedicated to grocery items and freshly made hot food, while the other division houses the department store concept of fashion and lifestyle items, electronics, and home accessories.
LuLu Group Chairman and Managing Director Yusuff Ali M.A. said: “We are extremely excited to launch this new hypermarket, which has consequently followed the recent 150th store milestone that was successfully inaugurated last month in the region of Riyadh. This new branch will be committed to rendering the same high-quality shopping experience that the LuLu brand has been known for. In addition, we are keen to expand widely in the Kingdom’s fast-growing market, where you will see another hypermarket opening in Dammam before the year ends. We have invested a total of SR1 billion for our business plans on retail, logistics, and food processing units.”
LuLu offers an internationally sourced variety of products — from groceries to fresh food, fish and meat sections, bakery, hot food, roastery, and delicatessen — in addition to lifestyle products, such as clothes, footwear, home décor, mobile and IT accessories, toys, stationery, and many more.
Currently, LuLu’s workforce comprises more than 3,000 Saudi nationals and it is eyeing to build a credible team of 6,000 employees by the end of 2020. With a combination of its wide product range and great customer service, LuLu is hoping the new store will be the favorite one-stop shop in the region.
