Saudi Arabia and Morocco enjoy strong ties. The Saudi Cabinet has repeatedly renewed its call to support Morocco in all possible ways to protect its security and stability.

At a reception held on Aug.1 at the Moroccan Embassy in Riyadh to celebrate the accession of King Mohammed VI, Al-Mansouri said: “In the diplomatic sphere, the Kingdom of Morocco has remained faithful to the general principles governing its foreign policy and strategic options.

“Morocco has endeavored to diversify its foreign relations and develop them with its traditional partners; it has spared no effort in supporting the causes of the Arab and Islamic nations, toward its brothers and strategic partners, especially Palestine.”

He also appreciated the support of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of King Salman.

“We note and cherish the firm and strong principled position of Saudi Arabia, which supports the territorial unity of Morocco, which has never ceased, and which represents a position cherished by the Moroccan people,” the envoy said.
