British ambassador lauds relations with Saudi Arabia

RIYADH: The British ambassador to Saudi Arabia has lauded relations with the kingdom during a meeting with the Saudi minister of Islamic Affairs on Thursday.

Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance has received at his office in Riyadh UK Ambassador Simon Collis and his accompanying delegation.

Collis hailed Saudi Arabia’s anti-terror position, citing the role being played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of King Salman and his Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman in disseminating the values of tolerance and amicability among peoples of the world, fighting of extremism and terrorism.

He also lauded the outcomes of the recent state visit by the Saudi Crown Prince to Britain, where he received a warm welcome of the British government, citing the interest of British government in the Kingdom’s vision.
