Saudi Civil Defense director general honors staff for efforts during Hajj

At a ceremony in Makkah, the director general of Civil Defense honored members for their efforts and performance in serving Hajj pilgrims and ensuring their comfort.

Lt. Gen. Sulaiman bin Abdullah Al-Amr also communicated Interior Minister Prince Abdul Aziz bin Saud bin Naif’s appreciation of Civil Defense personnel who ensured pilgrims’ safety.

“This annual ceremony is a good occasion to look forward to a promising future of better Hajj services, following the directives of our leadership,” Al-Amr said.

The ceremony will motivate Civil Defense employees to improve their performance, he added.

The honored personnel thanked him for his constant support, and said their awards are an incentive to do more as they serve their religion, king and country.
