Ka'aba tour brings Hajj history to life for pilgrims in Saudi Arabia

JEDDAH: Guests of King Salman for Hajj and Umrah Program visited the Kiswa Factory of the Holy Ka’aba on Tuesday to watch the stages of cladding, and hear an explanation of its history and the raw materials used in its manufacture.
The visit was part of the cultural program organized for the guests and supervised by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Da’wah and Guidance.
Guests watched samples and pictures showing the historical stages of the garment of the Ka’aba . They also toured different sections of the complex to take souvenir photos.
The visitors then toured the Exhibition of the Two Holy Mosques Architecture and saw rare items in the exhibition. They praised the exhibition and its contents, saying the exhibition was a source of historical and cultural documentation for Islamic generations and an important part of Islamic history.
The guests of King Salman commended the design and sections of the exhibition, which offer an understanding of the history of the architecture of the Two Holy Mosques.
The museum is one of the most important features telling the history of the Two Holy Mosques, they said.
At the end of the visit, guests praised the pioneering role of the Kingdom in the service of Islamic issues and Muslims.
