JEDDAH: Makkah Deputy Gov. Prince Abdullah bin Bandar visited Miqat Qarn Al-Kabir north of Taif and Al-Bahaita Security Center on Monday.

The deputy governor reviewed the services provided at Miqat Qarn Al-Kabir. The area has a mosque with a capacity for more than 3,000 people and has about 370 lavatories with 160 employees working around the clock to take care of the facilities. At Al-Bahaita Security Center, he was briefed about the services provided by the center and the efforts of security forces in serving pilgrims and facilitating their access to the holy sites.

The center provides assistance to pilgrims coming from the central and eastern parts of the Kingdom and the Gulf states. 

Prince Abdullah also inspected the Directorate General of Passports and the Red Crescent and Health Affairs Center in Al-Bahaita.
