August 7: Financial Tribune states that Navy Commander Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi held separate talks with the military attachés of Japan and Pakistan in Tehran on Monday. Khanzadi first held a meeting with the outgoing Pakistani military attaché during which he expressed hope that the two countries, especially their navies can enhance bilateral relations with the aim of maintaining the security of the Indian ocean region, Mehr News Agency reported.
