‘I hope I made my country proud,’ says Saudi who won FIFA e-World Cup in London

RIYADH: Expressing his happiness over winning the FIFA eWorld Cup Grand Final on Saturday, Mosaad Al-Dossary said it is an achievement for Saudi Arabia. He told Arab News: “I hope Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Saudi people will be pleased with my achievement.”

“Prince Mohammed bin Salman is a true supporter of the Saudi youth, and I hope I have pleased him even with this small gesture,” he said.
Al-Dossary, 18, said he loves Al-Ittihad Club and has a "strong and wonderful relationship" with its president, Nawaf Al-Mugairen.
“I received a phone call from him before the tournament and he asked me to make my country proud,” he said. “After winning the championship, he was one of the first people to congratulate me.”
Al-Dossary expressed his wish to become part of Al-Ittihad Club one day.
