JEDDAH: The first batch of Yemeni pilgrims reached Al-Wadiah Border Crossing in Najran Region yesterday evening en route to perform Hajj rituals this year.
All departments in Al-Wadiah Border Crossing have done their best to provide services and ease the crossing of Yemeni pilgrims, receiving them in accordance with the directives of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The Yemeni pilgrims spoke of how happy they were with facilities and services being provided so that they were able to perform Hajj rituals this year in comfort and tranquility,. They praised the great services being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Muslims all over the world.
The Yemeni Minister of Local Administration and the Head of the Supreme Relief Committee Abdulraqeeb Fatah praised the response of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre which saw the provision of 2,500 meals for Yemeni pilgrims.
The meals were delivered in coordination with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance.
Fatah explained that the center would distribute 2,500 meals a day to the same number of Yemeni pilgrims during their stay in Al-Wadiah Port.
