JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia’s cultural attache in the United Arab Emirates is participating in the 16th edition of Abu Dhabi’s International Hunting & Equestrian Exhibition, from Sept. 25-29.
Dr. Mohamad Al-Masoudi, director of cultural affairs at the Saudi cultural attaché in the UAE, said the Kingdom has a distinguished presence in its annual participation at the exhibition that reflects its strong ties with the UAE.
The platform allows exhibitors to showcase their products that are made in Saudi Arabia, as well as achieve international presence and gain experience and knowledge in the field.
The Saudi Wildlife Authority is also due to take part in the exhibition, as it has been keen to participate in the event since 2005, to share the future plans for nature reserves in the Kingdom with hunting enthusiasts. The authority is also keen on introducing them to the Saudi Arabian wildlife hunting system, in addition to issuing licenses to Saudi citizens who acquire falcons from the exhibition.
Majid Al-Mansouri, Chairman of the exhibition’s Supreme Organizing Committee, said that the event chose to highlight the achievements of late UAE ruler Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan and the exceptional efforts he had undertaken in environmental protection and preserving falconry heritage, hunting and equestrian activities.
