JEDDAH: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) paid an inspection visit to factories that specialize in preparing and providing food aid to Somali refugees in Dadaab region, Kenya.
The visit was aimed at ensuring the quality of the factories’ production, in accordance with humanitarian and relief standards.
This comes within the framework of humanitarian and relief assistance provided by KSRelief to all needy people all over the world.
The visit was implemented in line with the directives of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Meanwhile, another KSRelief team visited the Japanese Red Cross Society to discuss the latest developments related to flooding in some provinces in western Japan and to assess the needs of the areas affected by the disaster.
The team also visited the affected area, where they were briefed on the damage caused by the floods. They also met with a number of officials to discuss the region’s current needs and priorities.
The initiative was also implemented in line with the directives of King Salman and the Crown Prince, as part of efforts to boost distinct relationship between Saudi Arabia and Japan.
