Yemeni army liberates strategic locations in Taiz province

DUBAI: Yemen’s army made progress west of Taiz province in the south of Yemen on Tuesday, Saudi state-news channel Al-Ekhbariya reported.
In a statement issued to the Yemeni Defense Ministry official website, military sources said “the national army launched early morning operations on Houthi militia positions in Taiz.”
During the operation, the army reclaimed control of strategic mountains after fierce clashes broke out with the militia, resulting in dozens of militant deaths.
