Saudi Arabia and Kuwait sign minutes to establish coordination council

JEDDAH: Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir met in Kuwait on Wednesday with Kuwait’s Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah.
They reviewed the historical relations between the two countries, discussed regional and international issues as well as issues of mutual interest.
They signed the minutes of establishing a coordination council between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
The meeting was attended by a number of senior officials.
Emir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah later received Al-Jubeir.
At the outset of the meeting, Al-Jubeir conveyed the greetings of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the Emir of Kuwait, wishing his people progress and prosperity.
During the meeting, they affirmed the strong relations between the two countries and discussed regional and international issues.
The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Kuwait Prince Sultan bin Saad, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political and Economic Affairs Ambassador Dr. Adel bin Siraj Mirdad and Director General of the office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Khaled bin Musaed Al-Angari.
