DUBAI: The moment a Palestinian boy narrowly escaped death after falling under a truck has been captured on a video.

According to Lebanese daily An-Nahar, the incident took place in the Borj Al Barajneh refugee camp in south Lebanon, where the young boy lives.

The video shows a United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) garbage truck turning a corner to where the unaccompanied toddler was walking.

It appears that the driver did not see one-year-old Yousef Jamal Ali.

The boy disappears from view and then the truck appears to rock from side to side, before coming to a halt, the toddler now lying face down.

Then a man can be seen running up to the child and picks him up.

According to security sources in the camp An-Nahar, Ali suffered a broken bone in his thigh in the incident.
