JEDDAH: A Shoura Council delegation visited the Prince Mohammed bin Naif Counseling and Care Center, and the Central Prison for General Investigation in Riyadh.
Nasser Al-Mutairi, director of the center, introduced its methods, activities, programs and services.
The delegation learned about the pioneering services the center provides through three stages: Rehabilitation, care and intellectual treatment.
The delegation praised the center for relying on national and international expertise, and for using advanced psychometric and diagnostic tools.
Specialists at the center informed the delegation about its role in disseminating information worldwide via conferences.
At the prison, the delegation met with male and female inmates to learn about the programs and services provided to them, and undertook a thorough tour of the prison facilities.
The delegation also reviewed some of the modern treatment methods such as visual arts, and learned about prisoners’ activities and achievements in agriculture, carpentry and other fields.
