Riyadh governor honors Mobily for Eid sponsorship

Riyadh Gov. Prince Faisal bin Bandar honored Mobily on Monday for its sponsorship of the recent Eid Al-Fitr celebrations in Riyadh. Maziad Al-Harbi, chief technology officer of Mobily, received the honorary trophy on behalf of the company.

Al-Harbi thanked the Riyadh governor for “his care and guidance, which had a great impact on the success of the Eid Al-Fitr festivities.” Al-Harbi also praised the efforts exerted by the municipality of the Riyadh region and its keenness to provide services that meet the needs of residents and visitors. He said that Mobily recently increased the number of mobile towers in Riyadh as well as increased the capacity of its data network by 45 percent, thus improving the quality of services provided.

Mobily’s sponsorship of Eid activities confirms its leading role in social responsibility as a national company that employs its services for the greater good of the community, the company said in a statement.
