Yemen’s National Army pushed to the Tahita area as part of preparations for its full liberation and move towards Zabid, the army said on Friday.

“The liberation of the Directorate of Tahita and Zubaid will facilitate the battle for the liberation of the city of Hodeidah and will cut the supply lines of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia from Zabid,” the army's official website, September Net, quoted the military commander of the resistance forces as saying.

“It will also secure lines of supply to forces involved in the liberation process across the coastline,” he said.

The commander stressed that the Al-Houthi militia lost large areas of the west coast because of the depleting numbers of fighters and the demoralization of those who remain.

The military operations of the Yemeni National Army and the Popular Resistance continue, with the support and support of the Arab Coalition forces in the West Coast, ranging from combing operations, securing liberated areas and countering the attacks of the Houthi militias.
