ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Caretaker Prime Minister, Justice (R) Nasir-ul-Mulk, has urged that the country’s rich cultural heritage be promoted to international audiences.
He was attending a briefing on the functions and achievements of the National History and Literary Heritage Division in Islamabad on Monday.
According to an handout from the Prime Minister’s Office, he emphasized the need for greater coordination among the federal and provincial administrations to introduce the country’s rich cultural heritage to international audiences.
The prime minister also urged relevant authorities to attract foreign tourists, advising officials attending the briefing to enhance cooperation with foreign countries and specifically to reach out to states that have cultural affinities with Pakistan.
