LONDON: Saudi Arabia may have lost the opening game of the World Cup to inspired hosts Russia, but Green Falcons’ fans contributed significantly to the festive atmosphere in the Russian capital, Moscow.

Saudi supporters, many attired in national dress, mixed easily with Russian supporters before and after the game.

Though naturally, Saudi fans were disappointed with the result, they were gracious in defeat and were hopeful of improved performances in the two upcoming group games.
