RIYADH: Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) has upped its game as it begins transporting Saudi football fans to the opening match of World Cup 2018, against Russia, on Thursday.

The national carrier is bidding travelling fans farewell with gift packs tailored for the tournament.

Saudia has also raised the number of daily flights to Russia to four for the first week of the World Cup.
