Majid Al-Futtaim, a leading shopping mall, communities, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa and Asia, is bringing the family favorite gaming destination, Magic Planet, to Saudi Arabia. Located in the capital’s newest shopping hub, Riyadh Park, the venue is set to be the Magic Planet’s biggest opening to date and the very first to open in Saudi Arabia.
Spanning 10,000 square meters, gaming guests will have access to a selection of new attractions, which are only available at the new location. The Twist and Swing, for older adventurers, and the Magic Tree, for the little ones, are not only exclusive to Magic Planet Riyadh Park, but the very first in the region.
Guests will also be able to enjoy some of the brand’s favorite offerings including the G-force ride, bumper cars and go-karting. Also, thrill-seekers can brave the Crystal Mine Train and Gravity, Magic Planet’s indoor trampoline park, while the younger guests can explore Kids Square and Soft Play Area.
Magic Planet Riyadh Park also hosts the first VOX Cinemas, a four-screen multiplex in Saudi Arabia.
Adham Badawy, director of marketing and development at Majid Al-Futtaim Leisure and Entertainment, said: “We are delighted to be bringing Magic Planet to Saudi Arabia, making it the ninth country which we operate in. We’re aware that the brand already has many Saudi fans, so we’re expecting the new attraction to be extremely popular. Not only does the opening of our largest venue give us the opportunity to bring the Magic Planet experience to new audiences, but it also reaffirms our position as a leading amusement and entertainment destination in the Middle East.”
He added: “Opening our 34th venue is a huge achievement that we’re extremely proud of. Twenty-two years after our first opening in City Center Deira, we are still just as dedicated to bringing great moments to our guests every day, and we look forward to seeing families, friends, children and adults across the Kingdom getting involved in the fun.”
Magic Planet Riyadh officially opened on June 10. During Ramadan, the opening hours are: Sunday to Friday: 8.30 p.m. to 2.30 a.m., and Eid timings will be from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily.
Little Explorers, Majid Al-Futtaim’s much-loved edutainment center for young children, will also be opening its doors at Riyadh Park. This marks Little Explorers’ first venue in the Kingdom.
