Yemeni army takes full control of major western directorate in Taiz

DUBAI: Yemen’s national army has taken control of Al-Waza’iyah directorate in western Taiz as the Iran-backed Houthi militia fled to neighboring villages, Saudi state-news channel Al-Ekhbariya reported.
A spokesman for the Taiz axis said that the Directorate of Al- Waza’iyah has been fully liberated and the remaining militants are surrounded by Yemeni army forces.
