DUBAI: The Yemeni army continued its advance in the western coast of Hodeidah province and liberated several positions from the grip of the militias on Saturday, Saudi state-news channel Al-Ekhbariya reported.
According to the Yemeni Army’s official website, “September Net,” the army was able to liberate many villages in the Hodeidah province and continued to advance toward the Hima Al-Tahta after clashes with Houthis.
Field sources were quoted saying that the fighting resulted in the killing of the militia leader Mohammed Abdul Rahman Al-Shahari and eight of his companions.

Earlier, Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi visited the Joint Forces Command where he was received by Lieutenant General Fahd bin Turki bin Abdul Aziz, Commander of the Joint Forces, and briefed on the military operations conduct within the country.
