RIYADH: Celebrated American comedian Marlon Wayans will perform a live stand-up comedy routine tonight at Princess Noura University at the first annual Komedya event.
The exclusive performance, organized by Future Dimensions Entertainment and sponsored by the General Entertainment Authority, will be Wayans’ first live show in Saudi Arabia.
The event will also include routines by local talent.
Wayans, an actor, screenwriter and film producer in addition to being a comedian, has more than three decades’ experience in the entertainment business. He has appeared in movies such as “White Chicks” and “Little Man,” and has his own TV show, “Woke-ish.”
Ratib Abdo, Future Dimensions Entertainment’s executive manager, said: “It is going to be a fantastic show that will open a new era of stand-up comedy in the Kingdom.”
