RIYADH: Saudi Arabian border patrols seized more than 617kg of cannabis after foiling several drug-smuggling attempts through cities of Jazan and Najran, during the period between April 22 to May 4.
According to local reports, six Ethiopians and an Eritrean were arrested after they attempted to smuggle the drugs into the Kingdom via its southern border.
The suspects and the narcotics that have been confiscated were handed to authorities to carry out the necessary procedures.
