flyadeal, the Kingdom’s low-fare airline, has announced the arrival of its seventh new leased Airbus A320 at the King Abdul Aziz International Airport. The new Airbus A320, which just arrived from Hamburg, Germany, is named Al-Anqa (The Phoenix), after the brightest star in the Phoenix constellation, Alpha Phoenicis.
Con Korfiatis, CEO of flyadeal, said: “Transportation and tourism are key initiatives in Saudi Vision 2030 and we at flyadeal intend to support the Kingdom’s strategic plan by providing low-cost travel to the Kingdom’s various regions. As promised, we continue to expand our fleet to meet the growing demand for low-cost travel in Saudi Arabia and deepen our domestic presence so customers can ‘Fly for Less.’ We can’t wait to announce our route plans for this aircraft. Stay tuned.”
