Cybersecurity awareness forum in Madinah

JEDDAH: Dr. Eid bin Salem Al-Toum, undersecretary of Madinah governorate for security affairs, inaugurated a “cybersecurity awareness” workshop targeted at the presidency of state security and the Ministry of Interior sectors, as well regional government bodies.
The workshop was held in the King Saud Conference Hall at the Islamic University of Madinah.
Trainees participated in the workshop, which emphasized the importance of the role assigned to the national information center in maintaining the security of the Kingdom, and providing the best services for institutions and individuals through available advanced financial and qualified human resources, and a review of the efforts of the national information center. 
The workshop also addressed the role of employees in information security, data protection and the prevention of dangerous online behavior, as well as notifications of a security breach and adopting policies and guidance measures and rules.
