Spain’s King Felipe receives Saudi crown prince

Madrid: King Felipe VI of Spain received Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman on Thursday in the royal palace in Madrid.

The Spanish monarch will hold a luncheon in honor of the crown prince, with the attendance of the senior Spanish officials and businessmen.

The Saudi Royal Court said in a statement on Wednesday that the crown prince is on a visit to Spain upon directives of King Salman and in response to an invitation from the Madrid government.
