CAIRO: Egyptian actor Ahmad Al-Fishawy deleted an Instagram photo of his new tattoo shortly after it sparked a social media frenzy.
The now-deleted post showed Fishawy adding a new tattoo to his already heavily-tattooed body. The photo gained 17 thousand likes, among them one from Syrian singer Assala Nasri.
While some expressed their adoration for the actor, others said Fishawy was overdoing it with his tattoo drawings.

His fellow colleague, actor Ahmad Dawoud, commented on Fishawy’s picture, saying “isn’t it enough, or what?”
Fishawy played the main role in “Sheikh Jackson,” an Egyptian film that revolves around a religious Islamic cleric whose devout and life is thrown into chaos after the passing of popstar Michael Jackson.
It was featured as the opening movie for the first edition of El-Gouna Film Festival in September and was also screened at the 61st London Film Festival and at the Toronto International Film in September 2017.
