DUBAI: Yemen’s army and Popular Resistance forces on Wednesday liberated the strategic Al-Hodeidah and Al-Astourah mountains in Al-Bayda after storming the Houthi-held sites, Saudi state TV Al-Ekhbariya reported.
The Yemeni army and Popular Resistance forces also recovered a large cache of Houthi weapons from mount Al-Hodeidah after clashes with the militias. Dozens were killed, including a senior Houthi commander in mount Al-Dhahr and two of his companions, while several others were wounded.
At least 25 Houthis were captured.
