CAIRO: Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir will meet his Egyptian counterpart President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi during a visit to Cairo on Monday.
The meeting is part of “continued consultations between the two presidents,” Egyptian presidency spokesman Bassam Rady said in the statement.
The two leaders will discuss “bolstering brotherly ties between the two countries in all areas in a manner that contributes to serving the interests of the Egyptian and Sudanese peoples.”
The leaders last met in January on the sidelines of the African Union Summit in Ethiopia.
They both agreed at the time to form a quadrilateral committee comprising the foreign ministers and intelligence heads of both nations.
