DUBAI: A McDonald’s in London has been playing classical music and turning off the WiFI in a push to stop anti-social behavior, UK’s Evening Standard reported.
The branch, located in Shepherd’s Bush, has been plagued by crime reports but ever since the new strategy was rolled out, things have been better, the report added.
“Working together with the police and the local council in Shepherd’s Bush to help them with combatting persistent anti-social behavior, we thought that playing classical music at certain times of the day would help to set a different and calmer tone,” Franchise owner Atul Pathak told the London paper.
