Al-Hayat 1 International School won big at the prestigious “School Stakeholders Awards 2017” presented by Alert Knowledge Services (AKS), for its significant contribution in the field of education.
The awards ceremony was recently held at Hotel Raddison Blu in New Delhi, India.
The school representatives received the awards and certificates of appreciation from Upendra Kushyaha, minister of state for human resources devlopment; Anil Swaroop, HRD secretary; and Dinesh Kamra, chief executive of AKS.
The school’s performance in both curricular and co-curricular areas was thoroughly assessed by a team of experts.
According to the school’s management, the school has been recognized for its “exceptional academic status, excellent teaching faculty, workshops and in-service courses conducted for the staff, numerous co-curricular activities conducted for its students, well-regulated parents association, and strict adherence to the comprehensive evaluation system of CBSE.”
Al-Hayat 1 won the highest number of awards from among 1,800 nominations of schools following CBSE, IGCSE, ICSE and ISC curricula from around the world.
It won in the following categories: Best Management (Abdul Aziz Valiyaveetil), Best Principal (Anvar Shajja Vengasseeri), Best Teacher (Jaleel PK), Best Student (Ghouse Siraj) and Best Parent (Imthiyas Hameed).
A special function was conducted in the school auditorium to congratulate the award winners and to thank all the teaching and non-teaching staff.
The function was attended by Hassan Cheruppa, president of Indian Media Forum Jeddah, as the guest of honor.
In his speech, Cheruppa stressed on the role of teachers in each developmental stage of the students.
Yahya Al-Shahlani, a member of the Education Ministry, chaired the program.
Principal Vengasseeri delivered the welcome speech.
Abdullah Al-Misbahi, operations manager; Padmarajan, headmaster; and Abdul Jaleel Palampidiyan, staff secretary, also spoke at the event.
The award winners expressed their gratitude and happiness.
Owner Hamad Saif Al-Batal congratulated his team for the achievement. Abdul Majeed Perinjikkal, CCA coordinator, proposed the vote of thanks.
