CAIRO: Social media fans have been comparing Egyptian actress Yasmine Abdel Aziz and Lebanese diva Elissa after they both appeared on separate occasions donning the same black evening gown, created by global designer Elie Saab.
Elissa appeared at the finale of “Project Runway” program wearing the same black dress in which Abdel Aziz appeared to be wearing at a Cairo-based magazine annual gala dinner a few weeks ago.
Fans shared pictures of both stars and said who wore the gown better.
The Lebanese fashion designer is not only a hot-pick for Arab celebrities, but also international ones like Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Halle Berry and Mila Kunis.
He recently was on the receiving end of a backlash after a photo of Israeli actress Gal Gadot wearing his gown was posted on the label’s official Instagram account.
