DUBAI: Expats in Oman will now have to pay $130 to register their children in government schools, according to a new decree by the Sultanate’s Ministry of Education, the Times of Oman reported.
The decision, issued by the Minster of Education Madeeha bint Ahmed bin Nassir Al-Shaibaniyah, sets fees for services provided by the ministry.
Among the 38 services outlined in the ministerial decision is the fee for services provided to non-Omani students attending public schools, which is set at $260.
