Shooting in Amsterdam, ‘multiple victims’ according to police

LONDON: A man was killed in a shooting on Friday evening, while two others were injured in central Amsterdam , Dutch police said.
The wounded were rushed to the hospital to be treated after fmergency services were called to the scene of Grote Wittenburgerstraat street.
A cordon has been put in place as detectives search for evidence.
The cause of the incident is unknown, however police are ruling out shooting as a terrorist act.
It is not yet known whether anyone has been arrested.
