JEDDAH: Experience an international Friday brunch at the Sofitel Jeddah Corniche and get ready to spoil yourself with savory, mouth-watering delights. Whether you want to relax or recover, this is the place to be.
With a great seafront view and a relaxing family atmosphere, the Sofitel Friday international indoor brunch will thrill your taste buds whether you like to stick to traditional food or try out different dishes from all over the globe.
Weekends are those complementary parts of the week devoted to rest, and you can start the first day of your weekend by treating your family to a Friday brunch.
With six chefs from different countries to serve you the best tastes of each dish, Sofitel organized a great scene and combinations of international and middle eastern goodies.
You will regale your senses by the many food stations that offer you a different live cooking show. You will choose your kebab; then you will move to select the number of shrimp, calamari and ribs that you want to see well cooked and presented at your table.
Live stations include sea food, chicken shawarma with full condiments, BBQ kebabs, shish taouk and ribs. A mouthwatering dessert station includes freshly made crepes and waffles — perfect for brunch or dessert.
The Sofitel brunch also provides visitors with a well-equipped live sushi station full fresh ingredients where you can either enjoy watching your order being made or you can wait at your table and have it served to you by one of the welcoming waiters of the hotel.
Kids’ corner and play area
It is always exciting for our kids to see a kids’ corner at a restaurant, and it is an easy way for parents to keep the kids entertained and happy. The Sofitel Friday brunch offers a corner for kids with two types of salads, French fries, pizza, soup, rice and a chocolate fountain along with fruit sticks. After the kids are full, they can chill in the play area while the rest of the family enjoys the great view of the seafront and continues enjoying their food.
The Middle Eastern part of the brunch will leave you puzzled where to start — from the Moroccan side or the Saudi one. The brunch also offers typical Saudi Arabian food that no feast, whether a royal affair or a family gathering, would be without. A full cooked sheep, surrounded by masses of rice and garnished with hard-boiled eggs, is presented on a huge tray to make your Friday traditional.
The brunch is available every Friday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. starting from SR250 ($67) per person. The Sofitel Jeddah Corniche is located on the beach with an unparalleled view of the new iconic Jeddah sea front, on Al-Cornish Road, in the As-Shati district.
It is worth mentioning that brunch is a combination of breakfast and lunch usually eaten during the late morning to early afternoon. It is popular all over the world on weekends when families often host relatives or friends in their dining room. The typical brunch can last a few hours and go late into the afternoon.
