Pakistan Consul General Shahryar Akbar Khan recently honored students of the Pakistan International School Jeddah — English Section (PISJ-ES) for achieving the highest number of Cambridge Outstanding Learner awards among all schools in the Kingdom’s western region.
Khan congratulated teachers and students, saying: “Success and failure are part and parcel of life, but winners are those who remain steadfast on the journey of believing and achieving while clutching tight to the virtues of honesty, integrity and truthfulness.”
He added: “The pathways through study and training are not the same for everyone. This achievement is the consolidated result of your commitment, your parents’ motivational support to provide you a conducive learning environment at your homes and your teachers’ dedication to carve in you the drive and sense of responsibility to exploit your full potential.”
Students received their awards from the consul general, while the teachers were presented with flower bouquets.
Principal Adnan Nasir thanked Khan for visiting the school and encouraging PISJ-ES students.
“Just like the term ‘parenting’ connotates ‘bringing forth,’ the entire school team is in constant endeavour to bring forth the highest level of interest, intensive practice, focused purpose and undying hope in our students, which can help them make their way to a promising future as the real makers and founders on the less trodden paths of success and achievement.”
He advised students to explore their power of purpose to improve their academic performances and future ambitions.
The ceremony concluded with a group photo of the award-winning students with the consul general and principal.
