RIYADH: The Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC), in cooperation with the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), will organize a meeting of Saudi-Russian businessmen on Thursday to discuss economic cooperation relations and mechanisms of developing them.
The meeting will be attended by Minister of Trade and Investment Majid Al-Qassabi, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak, and the governor of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA), Ibrahim bin Abdul Rahman Al-Omar.
The meeting, which comes in conjunction with meetings of the joint Saudi-Russian government committee, will be attended by a number of Saudi and Russian companies representing many economic sectors.
During the meeting, a number of presentations will be made, including one on investment opportunities in Russia; another on cooperation between the Saudi Public Investment Fund and its Russian counterpart; and another on the investment environment in the Kingdom.
This meeting is a continuation of trade talks between the Kingdom and Russia, which began in Moscow during the first Saudi-Russian investment forum organized by SAGIA in cooperation with the CSC and the Saudi-Russian Joint Council during the visit of King Salman to Russia in October.
