Malabar Gold launches 3 stores in a day in UAE, Kuwait

Malabar Gold & Diamonds, one of the world’s leading jewelry retailers, recently launched three new stores.
Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan inaugurated two showrooms in Dubai on Oct. 5. The store located on Cosmos Lane, Meena Bazar, near Dubai Museum is the largest jewelry store in Bur Dubai.
Khan inaugurated the store in the presence of M.P. Ahammed, chairman; K.P. Abdul Salam, group executive director; Shamlal Ahamed, managing director — international operations; Asher O., managing director — India operations; in addition to other management officials, members of the media and guests.
The new showroom is spread across 5,000-square feet and displays over 35,000 jewelry pieces from ten countries.
Khan also launched Malabar Gold & Diamonds’ 191st store globally on the same day in Lulu Hypermarket, Al-Barsha.
Both stores feature a rare collection of gold and diamond jewels from India, Malaysia, Turkey, Singapore, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Thailand, Italy, Spain and Bahrain.
This includes skilfully crafted jewelry in 24 carat, 22 carat and 18 carat, ranging from lightweight daily wear to bridal jewelry in traditional as well as contemporary designs.
Customers can win up to 100 kilos of gold with the purchase of gold and diamond jewelry.
With every purchase of gold and diamond jewelry worth 500 dirhams ($136), customers get a chance to win a half kilo of gold each in 25 raffle draws.
Customers also get a two-gram gold coin on diamond jewelry purchase worth 5,000 dirhams and a one-gram gold coin on purchase of diamond jewelry worth 3,000 dirhams.
Customers can protect the gold rate until Oct. 17 by paying 10 percent of the entire amount on the selected gold jewelry.
The jewelry retailer also inaugurated a new showroom in Kuwait on the same day. The new store located in Al-Salam Mall Kuwait is the group’s 190th store globally and its seventh store in Kuwait.
