DUBAI: A mystery donor has given more than 120 homes to needy families and orphans in Oman, but has chosen to remain anonymous.
The generous donation saw 124 properties gifted in the Al Rawdha and Al Kehel areas of Al Buraimi Governorate. A further 14 were donated in Mahadhah Times of Oman reported.
Meanwhile the Al Jisr Charity Foundation has also announced plans to hand over the keys for 31 houses as part of its charity drive.
“Al Jisr Charity Foundation is now planning on building 31 houses in different areas in Muscat, Al Dakhiliyah, and parts of Al Sharqiyah and Al Batinah,” said general manager Ahmed Al-Harthy.
The latter comes as part of collaboration with the Ministry of Housing, to provide assistance with housing for people in need and underprivileged families entitled to Zakat in the country.
The Al Jisr Charity Foundation had already provided 36 houses earlier this year.
The foundation provided more than 410 homes since its launch in 2010, 63 of which were handed over to beneficiaries in 2016.
