JEDDAH: The Makkah Region Development Authority will display its latest projects at the Jeddah City Development and Real Estate Investment Exhibition (City Vision 2017) and reveal the details of Al-Faisaliah project and the most important development projects in Makkah.
The event will take place at the Jeddah Center for Forums and Events from Oct. 31 and Nov. 2 under the patronage of Prince Mishaal bin Majid bin Abdul Aziz, governor of Jeddah.
The three-day show will attract leading real estate developers in the Kingdom and the world.
Jalal bin Abdul Jalil Kaaki, spokesman for the Makkah Region Development Authority, said the participation of the authority in the exhibition’s activities would contribute toward achieving strategic objectives under the theme “Building Partnerships, Building Business and Meetings.”
“The authority seeks to develop the Makkah Region and Al-Mashaaer (the holy places) through designing comprehensive development and strategic plans, studies and programs to develop mega-projects,” he said.
He pointed out that Al-Faisaliah project, to be built on an area of 2,450 sq. km., will be one of the largest development projects in the Makkah region.
The operational plans for the project will be reviewed at the exhibition.
City Vision 2017 will be held on an area of over 9,000 sq. m.
The number of exhibitors has risen to 80 following successes achieved since its launch in 2009. It will target more than 7,500 visitor
