Spending quality time with family is getting increasingly hard in today’s fast-paced world. In a bid to encourage family bonding, Home Centre, the largest home retailer in the Middle East, has rolled out Family Tuesday from this week.
A number of offers and privileges are available in this weekly initiative. Additionally, Home Centre will host regular events such as workshops on home décor, table setting, and DIY activities among others, carried out by their in-house experts and prominent specialists, aiming to bring families together.
With Family Tuesday, Home Centre aims to offer a wholesome shopping experience that families can enjoy together. Apart from 25 percent discount on all products, customers will be treated to free express delivery on a minimum purchase of SR1,500 ($400) and personalized shopping assistance. Customers can also enjoy a free Uber ride home.
Médéric Payne, CEO of Home Centre, said: “We at Home Centre are proud to announce the launch of our newest customer-focused initiative — Family Tuesday — in Saudi Arabia. The feeling of togetherness is best experienced with family and loved ones, and through Family Tuesday we want to offer our customers and their families a rewarding and fulfilling experience.”
To mark the launch of this initiative, Home Centre hosted a table setting workshop with Saudi fashion blogger Dareen Al-Yawar at the Dome store in Jeddah on Tuesday. Al-Yawar showcased a variety of table settings through incorporating gold-embellished decorative platters, antique lanterns, artsy candle holders and other artefacts. While the grown-ups learned table styling tips, kids had fun with drawing, face painting and other activities at a nearby play area, specially set up for the day.
