Al-Nassr FC and partner New Balance officially unveiled the new home and away kits for the 2017-18 season. They were worn on-pitch for the first time during Al-Nassr’s game during the Arab Nations Cup on July 23.
The design is rooted in Al-Nassr FC’s history and takes inspiration from the club’s official colors of yellow and blue. For the home kit, the graphic design of the original kit has been reimagined on a yellow backdrop with blue border on the sleeves, with the New Balance NB logo and the club crest logo that is teamed up with blue shorts. For the away kit, the look is more athletic with blue crewneck top with yellow highlights on the collar that is coupled with yellow shorts.
The new kits feature NB Dry X fabric technology and all other technological innovations that New Balance has developed over the years and that have been used by the world’s leading clubs, such as Liverpool FC, Celtic FC and Porto.
Richard Wright, general manager of New Balance Football, said: “We are delighted to be supplying the kit for Al-Nassr Football Club. Part of our mission is to engage with football fans and players around the world, from park level to pro-level and being the kit supplier to Al-Nassr FC will help us to do just that. We are really looking forward to revealing the kit collection for the new season.”
Prince Faisal bin Turki, president of Al-Nassr FC, said: “Al-Nassr is very proud to announce New Balance as the club’s kit supplier. The club’s ambition is to grow stronger and one of the strategies we are incorporating is to begin new relationships with exceptional businesses. New Balance is known globally for producing excellent products and we believe working with them as our kit supplier will bring great success to both our organizations.”
The new kits are expected to hit the stores on Sunday. They can be purchased from exclusive Al-Nassr and New Balance stores across the Kingdom, in addition to select stores of El Faleh, Matjar Al-Watany, Sports Ghornatah and Athletes Co.
