Makkah governor reviews ministry water plans for Hajj season

JEDDAH: Makkah Gov. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal discussed the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture’s plans and preparations for the 2017 Hajj season.
During a meeting with Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdul Rahman Al-Fadhli that was held in Jeddah, Prince Khaled also reviewed water projects in the region and received details on the ministry’s preparations for the coming Hajj season, which includes a 21 percent increase in pumped water over last year.
The meeting was attended by Mohammed bin Ahmed Mukli, the ministry’s undersecretary for water services, Ahmed Al-Eyada, deputy minister of agriculture for fisheries affairs, and the director general of water in Makkah, Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Ghamdi.
