LONDON: Ever since “Suits” actress Meghan Markle began dating Prince Harry, the public has taken great interest in her life story.
A representative from England’s Channel 4 reportedly confirmed to Elle UK that an hour-long, straight-to-television documentary about Markle’s life, called “Meet the Markles,” is in the works.
According to Elle UK, the documentary, which is being made with production company Renegade Pictures, will fill in gaps for those wondering how Markle and Prince Harry met, in addition to analyzing how she would fit into the royal family should the couple choose to get married. Aside from her and Prince Harry’s romance, the documentary will also investigate Markle’s ancestry, detail her childhood in Los Angeles, and discuss her work in philanthropy.
“Channel 4 is going to go deeper into her past than anyone before. They want to discover new things about her family. It could be dramatic,” said a source.
It is not completely clear whether Markle has had any involvement in the project, though it is not likely, considering both she and Prince Harry have been silent about the course of their relationship. When a fan asked Markle about her relationship with Prince Harry at the recent ATX Television Festival, she responded with a simple, silent smile.
Recently, Prince Harry gifted Markle a gold ring, expressing his commitment to the actress. However, it was not the engagement ring that the public has been buzzing about. The ring was not designed to fit her ring finger; instead it was designed to be worn on her thumb.
