DUBAI: United Airlines is making headlines again, but this time not for dragging anyone off a plane.
Instead, passengers set to fly from Houston to Quito in Ecuador Thursday were evacuated after some customers reported there was a scorpion on Flight 1035.
According to a United statement, the scorpion “emerged from a customer’s clothing.
“Paramedics at the gate immediately examined the customer and determined that he had not been stung. The customer declined further medical treatment and, as a precaution, a new aircraft was arranged,” the statement reads.
The captain of my flight just told us it's a scorpion on the plane???!!!!! Good job United!

According to Mashable, United distributed meal vouchers due to the three-hour delay.
This isn’t the first time a scorpion has tried to hitch a ride on a United flight.
In April, a scorpion fell out of the overhead locker and onto a man’s head on a flight from Houston to Calgary.
