RIYADH: Students of Pakistan International School, English Section (PISES) Riyadh have broken all previous academic records in Edexcel A Level examinations 2016.
Two students excelled in mathematics and four secured excellent rankings at international level, according to the British Council.
PISES Principal Muhammed Tanveer congratulated the students and parents at an event held at the school on Saturday.
“The high scores achieved by Pakistani students can be attributed to their hard work, quality education and transparency of the system,” he said, adding that there are 36 high achievers in total, who scored straight As in Edexcel A Level June 2016 Examination.
Referring to the top achievers’ announcement made by the British Council for the May/June 2016 International A Level-Edexcel Examination, the principal said: “It is a matter of great pleasure and pride that two of our students, Hamza Hamid Hussain and Laiba Arshad Khan, topped all over the world in mathematics.”
