DUBAI: US actor Zac Efron gave his 26.3 million fans a teaser of what to expect in his upcoming movie “Baywatch” as he posted a stylish selfie taken in the Emirati desert.
The 29-year-old film star is visiting the UAE to promote luxury fashion house Hugo Boss, for which he is a brand ambassador.
In the Instagram photo, Efron is seen wearing a checkered red and white ghutra (a traditional headdress) and a pair of reflective iridescent aviators as he holds on to a handle of his private car.
In another shot, the actor was captured mid-air as he pulled a karate move in the midst of the desert as the sun set behind him.
Only able to see his silhouette, the actor jumped impressively high against a background of sand dunes in the snap.
The uncaptioned photos led some fans to wonder if he is in the UAE for a vacation or a movie.
Earlier, Efron interacted with bloggers, fashionistas and media professionals at the Dubai Design District (d3) event to promote a new fragrance.
He also met with fans at The Dubai Mall’s Paris Gallery, where he signed autographs for shoppers who bought a bottle of the fragrance.
“Thanks for the love, Dubai. Can’t wait to come back,” Efron wrote on Instagram.
The “Bad Neighbors” actor is currently filming “The Greatest Showman” with Hugh Jackman.
